Our hotel is a short distance from the waterfront. I am in heaven. Already we have photos of zebras, a lone ostrich walking along the ocean and a family of baboons. Two of the troop were squatting in the center of the road and refused to move as the bus approached. The driver honked and still they eyed us…but stayed put! I usually fall asleep on bus rides…couldn’t today the scenery was just too beautiful. Wild African penguins…they live in a sheltered cove that’s surrounded by luxury homes.
